HLS Linen Services is proud of its history of providing linen and laundry service to Eastern Ontario. Originally set up in 1974 to provide a centralized, cost effective linen service for five local hospitals, HLS Linen Services has steadily increased its clientele.

Acute care hospitals, long term care homes, rehabilitation centers, mental health facilities and outreach programs are satisfied by the products provided by HLS. These products are designed to suit your needs and to support patient care. Time saving techniques are an integral part of product selection. One simple example of this is a 24 oz fitted sheet, designed to allow one person bed making while offering patient comfort and aseptic appearance.

We understand that in the health care delivery system, as it applies to our world today, commitments must be met regardless of chance interruptions. Time and again, we have responded to emergency situations by maintaining ongoing service to our Customers. HLS Linen Services uses an integrated computer system which not only provides insightful information for maintaining appropriate quantities of linen necessary for reliable service, but will also generate detailed reports for client usage. The average order fill rate is consistently at 99.9%. We deliver on time, every time.

Doing our part to keep the earth as clean as possible, we are pioneers and leaders in the recycling and infection control activities. We operate under strict guidelines that have been set forth by suppliers, launderers, and users of linen and equipment along with the guidance and expertise of leaders in the health care, recycling, and infection control fields.

Specialty operating room linens are manufactured from the latest technological materials. They are specifically designed to support and enhance the surgical team’s performance while caring for the environment and minimizing costs.

Adherence to CSA, ORNAC, AAMI & AORN standards is a built in component for all OR linens. Our Pack Room is designed to meet all facility requirements for “clean room” work processes. All OR linens are individually inspected over light tables and integrity testing is computer monitored.
